Start of demolition works on the former H\u00f6ll Area<\/h1>\n

The first excavators have already arrived. By end of the year, the former sausage factory shall be completely demolished, thus clearing the path for a new usage of the ground. By 2017, a lively center of town with shops, apartments (including barrier-free apartments), and a new marketplace shall be created here.<\/p>\n

After the demolition, Illingen-based investor Brauturmgalerie, the community of Illingen and state-owned LEG Saar (another SHS subsidiary) as project manager will develop and use the area. All in all, roughly 35 million euros shall be invested, with 6 million euros being borne by the community of Illingen, around half being paid by a private investor, and the remaining sum being financed by regional, federal and EU subsidies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
